My daughter is 7.5 years old and we have been trying to get her off training wheels for the last 3 years! Milly wanted to ride like her big brothers badly but she would become so frustrated if she couldn’t get it right away! I knew as her mom I needed an outsider to step in and teach Milly to ride! On 4/27/25 Milly and I went to Carmel Elementary and met Coach Matt and I watched them from distance and as I watched I was in complete shock! Coach Lauren and her helpers were absolutely wonderful helping our 6 and 7 year olds get going on two wheels. The boys were a bit apprehensive but immediately were put at ease and had a ton of fun. They gained a lot of confidence and are off!

As a father of 9 and 7 years old kids I found myself struggling to teach my youngest one to ride a bike without safety wheels. My oldest learned with no problem at age of 5, but my youngest wouldn’t even try to learn no matter what I say or do. Long story short, I was chatting with the father of my son’s school friend about my concerns with not to be able to get my son bicycling and he recommended Coach Matt. I was really surprised that kids might learn to bike in just one session of 2 hours, but decided to give it a try.

Online registration was easy and instructions straight forward to follow. From the beginning of the class, coach Matt established a great working attitude with my kid, and 30 minutes later, my son was a happy and excited bike rider. I recommend Coach Matt to anyone!

My daughter just wasn't confident enough to let go of her training wheels.
And we made many attempts to teach her to ride without them. She was very engaged in the learning process with coach Matt and seeing the other kids take there first ride, then so did she! Even on her bike which wasn't as easy to ride as the smaller one she took off on in class. Very happy I signed up!
