Learn2Ride Coach App Privacy Policy

The Learn2Ride Coach App ("the App") is an internal operational tool used by coaches and administrators of Learn2Ride ("we," "us," "our") to run our children's bike-riding workshops. This policy explains what data the App accesses, how that data is used, and how it is protected — including data obtained through Google APIs.
Who uses the App
The App is used only by Learn2Ride coaches and administrators, who sign in with their Google account. It is an internal business tool, not a consumer product, and is not offered to the general public.
Google account data we access
When a coach signs in, the App requests these Google permissions and uses them only for the purposes described:

Your email address (
userinfo.email) — used solely to identify which coach is signing in, so the App can show that coach only their own workshops, students, and pay. It is never used for marketing. -
Google Sheets (
spreadsheets) — the App reads and writes a single private Google Sheet that holds Learn2Ride's operational records: workshop schedules, rosters, post-session reports, and coach pay. -
Connection to an external service (
script.external_request) — the App communicates with Learn2Ride's Shopify store to read workshop and order information and to create or update workshop listings.
The App does not access your Gmail, your Google Drive files, your contacts, or your Google Calendar.
Operational data the App handles
To run workshops, the App processes registration information that families provide at checkout on our Shopify store — a child's first name and age, and a parent's name, email, and phone number. Coaches use this information only to deliver the workshop the family registered for: building rosters, recording session outcomes, scheduling, and sending session-related communications.
How we use data
All data is used solely to operate Learn2Ride — scheduling workshops, building rosters, recording session results, calculating coach pay, and communicating with registered families about their sessions. We do not sell data, we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes, and we do not use it for advertising.
Limited Use disclosure
Learn2Ride's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Information received from Google APIs is used only to provide and improve the App's coach-facing features, is not transferred to others except as necessary to provide those features or as required by law, and is never used for advertising.
Data storage and protection
Operational data is stored in Google Workspace (Google Sheets) and in our Shopify store, both of which are access-controlled. Access is limited to authorized Learn2Ride coaches and administrators.
Data retention and deletion
We retain operational records for as long as needed to run the business and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of data associated with you, contact us at the address below.
