One-on-One Coaching Helps Younger Riders Succeed
We have a new Learn2Ride legend! 🙌 Meet Liam, a brave 4-year-old from Indianapolis, Indiana, who came to his One-on-One Session over the weekend with one big goal: ride a bike without training wheels for the first time.
He had never ridden on two wheels before — but you’d never guess it from the video below. 💪 In just 90 minutes, Liam went from walking his bike… to gliding… to confidently pedaling and riding on his own. The joy on his face says it all!
Liam started the session with his Guardian bike, which gave him a great base to practice balance. But once he was ready to glide faster, Coach Matt introduced him to a Woom bike, and the results were instant. With the improved gearing and fit, Liam took off — and he hasn't looked back. His mom told us he's been riding every chance he gets since the session ended.
Watch Liam in action below. It's 90 minutes of progress in under 60 seconds — and proof that age doesn’t have to be a barrier when the desire is there. 🎬👇
Our group workshops are designed for kids ages 6 and up, but we also offer One-on-One Sessions for younger riders who are ready to ditch the training wheels. With individual coaching, a patient process, and the right bike setup, your child can achieve this same incredible milestone — and do it with confidence.
If your child is under 6 and ready to ride, let’s make it happen!
